I like this product a lot. It fits girths with a somewhat extended pectoral plate, (about six inches would be okay, but not a real stud guard girth) it is soft, easily washable, and not so expensive or precious that you can’t poke a a hole in it to get at your girth hardware if you want. When applying treat it somewhat like putting on nylons. If you are rough with it getting it on the girth, just dragging it over it can run–which honestly seems to do it no harm. I have several and like them very much, as do my students.
