I love these boots! I have actually been wearing them all summer and they don’t make my feet too hot. I got a size 9 where I normally take an 8.5 but I wanted a little extra room since sometimes riding boots can run small. They are roomy enough that I can wear a pair of thick socks in the winter, but not so much that they are too loose on me with normal socks. These are the first riding boots I’ve owned that are wide enough for my feet and don’t rub my heels raw. They look great and the best part is they can be hosed or wiped clean with water, no leather cleaner or conditioner! I can muck stalls in them without worrying about ruining them, hose them off, and then get on and have my lesson. They look and fit great. Perfect for schooling, working lesson students, and trail riding and I’m getting use out of mine year round and they are holding up fine, still look new when I clean them after each use. I am 5’3, 120 pounds with muscular calves and they fit my calves just fine, there is enough stretch to them to fit snugly but still flex with your muscles and not feel too tight or restricting. I would definitely recommend these and would purchase again in the future if I ever need a new pair.
